Fact:

Plaintiff Araceli Rico filed a one-count complaint alleging pregnancy discrimination in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, 42 U.S.C. ยง 2000e, et seq. Defendant Davis Bancorp, Inc. (“DBI”) answered and the parties completed discovery. Presently before us is DBI’s motion for summary judgment. For the reasons discussed below, we grant the motion.

CONCLUSION:

For the reasons discussed above, Rico cannot prevail under either the direct or indirect method of proving pregnancy discrimination. We grant DBI’s motion. It is so ordered.
