Facts
Western Steer, a North Carolina corporation, sought to franchise its “Western Steer Family Steakhouse” restaurants. Defendant Raymond T. Todd sought the plaintiff’s interest and met with Western Steer’s franchising personnel. The parties continued discussions through phone calls, correspondence, and further conversations with the franchising department.

Decision
IT IS, THEREFORE, ORDERED that:
(1) The motion of the Defendants to dismiss for lack of in personam jurisdiction is DENIED; and
(2) The motion of the Defendants for transfer of venue according to 28 U.S.C. § 1404 is DENIED.
